At first my wife and I were having extreme difficulty planning out our wedding. The short time we had to plan it, and the constant pressure from our family for updates were making it even that much more painful. We had just moved to the area and didn't know anyone who could help, and all our family was thousands of miles away. The first time I talked to Katy was the first sign of hope that finally we might have found someone who could help. She was honest, sympathetic, encouraging, and gave us the feeling that everything was going to be okay. She never showed us any doubt that having our wedding when we wanted it couldn't be done.
We thank Katy from the bottom of our hearts, and my wife and I both agree... without her help not only would we still be planning our wedding, but it wouldn't have been as wonderful and as perfect as it was.

Katy was truly a godsend for our wedding. Even from the beginning, we found her easy to talk to and very dependable. Her attention to detail was immaculate, and she often brought up ideas that we never even considered, but were important to the wedding running smoothly. She kept us on a timely schedule months before the wedding, which is great if you are as scatter-brained and busy as we are. We also really appreciated her advice on vendors, which was crucial since we are not from the area. On the day of the wedding, she did an amazing job behind the scenes to make sure that the day was executed as perfectly as possible. Many snafoos were avoided because of her!

When I first met Katy, I immediately connected with her. Unlike the other planners who sent me forms to fill out before the initial meeting, Katy had a pen and notebook and asked me how my fiance and I envisioned our wedding. She listened carefully to my answers and wrote it all down! At that point in the process, I didn't know exactly how I wanted my wedding to be, but Katy did not push her ideas on me. She was very good at making me feel comfortable and offering suggestions based on who we were as a couple and what we wanted to focus on. She was also the only planner who asked about me and my husband and how we met. My husband initially thought hiring a wedding planner was unnecessary. When he met Katy for the first time, he told me he was glad we hired Katy. He saw all the work she was doing for our wedding and could tell she was well organized, easy to get along with and committed to helping us create a wedding that uniquely represented us. She made the wedding planning process much less stressful than it could have been. On our wedding day, everything went wonderfully. Our entire family was very impressed with the wedding, and with Katy. She also worked really well with all our vendors, many of whom she worked with for the first time. She made sure every detail was taken care of. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding because we knew that Katy had everything taken care of!

"Katy is the smartest woman alive! Perhaps an exaggeration-but I would have given up on planning a destination wedding without her! There is no way I would be able to trust a name in a phone book but Katy knew the area, knew the businesses to work with, who to talk to, what to say, and she is always happy to talk about it! I know nothing about flowers beyond the color wheel and she was able to help me choose a color scheme and flowers that no one could quit looking at the whole night! She got to know my husband and I very quickly and was able to say "I think you would like to work with ___ best" and always had other options available too.
